A unique experience of one of Australia’s most iconic locations. Take an exclusive tour of the grounds of Government House, Canberra, led by The Australiana Fund’s knowledgeable and experienced volunteer Garden Guides.

The Tours typically run from Feb, March, April, September, October & November. Tours will recommence in Spring 2025

DUE TO THE EXCLUSIVENESS OF THIS TOUR, THE OPERATORS REQUIRE BOOKING 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE AND ARE REQUIRED TO TAKE THE NAME AND DATE OF BIRTH FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS WHICH WILL BE FORWARDED TO THE AFP AT GOVERNMENT HOUSE.

Please note, this event consists of a 1 hour walking tour of Government House Gardens. The path the tour takes is quite uneven and there is no access to use the bathroom. All guests are required to provide ID.

The transport operators reserve the right to cancel in the event of low booking numbers. Also being the residence of the Governor-General, the AFP reserves the right to refuse access to Gardens at short notice due to security reasons.
